Healthy Travel Foods: The Avocado

This one of my perfect travel snacks and I wish airports would catch on to the the fact that I would pay top dollar for a couple avocados on my flight or at the airport. I don’t want things flavored like an avocado.

  • They are rich with nutrients other healthy qualities.
  • They provide 20 essential nutrients, including fiber, potassium, Vitamin E, B-vitamins and folic acid.
  • Avocados contain 60% more potassium per ounce than bananas!
  • Avocados are high in fiber, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium and folate.

Travel size
One fits nicely in my laptop bag and I grab a plastic knife and spoon at the airport and eat it quickly.  Funny thing about avocado’s they already come in the perfect travel pack. They are wrapped in mother nature’s container to survive a fall off a tree.  They are cheap, last with out refrigeration and are the perfect snack.
